I think the Sears closing could bring interesting changes to the area. The mall is 20 years old as are a LOT of surrounding retailers. I wonder how many more leases won't be renewed. Any idea what's going into Barnes and Noble?

New Best Buy store being built in NE Columbia in Sparkleberry Square, about 1/2 mile from Sandhills. Other store on Two Notch will also still be there.... Good to see a big retailer opening these days, especially in this area where it's been pretty stagnant lately.

Just so you know, the next Best Buy in northeast Columbia will be an ADDITIONAL location, not a replacement for any current stores!!!

It's amazing how much is happening in Lexington!!! It's like everywhere you go there is GROWTH. Target, Best Buy, and Petsmart will make a pretty strong area....sounds like there will be other major retailers there as well! And I think on the Edens & Avant site it shows this will be a pretty big area!!! VERY COOL!
