  1. I came across this photo of old mbta equipment being refurbished for the Hartford line.
  2. An interesting read from the NY Post. http://nypost.com/2016/04/08/hartfords-xl-center-set-to-get-250m-facelift/ Let's hope this means that the ball is finally starting to roll on this project in a major way. Now that private investors are starting to creep into the picture it makes me wonder if they know something that we don't. Maybe talks with the NHL are starting to accelerate too?
  3. The NHHS Rail Line has been rebranded as The Hartford Line. Gov. Malloy also announced that construction will begin this fall on three new stations in Wallingford, Meriden and Berlin. The new logo seems to be a variation of the one used for CTFastrak with a different color scheme. The name change and color scheme falls in line with other rail lines in Connecticut (New Haven Line and Waterbury Branch) so does this imply that the state may be leaning toward selecting Metro North as the operator for this line too? http://www.courant.com/news/connecticut/hc-the-hartford-line-commuter-rail-1026-20141024-story.html
  4. I read most of the threads here but I don't post too often so forgive me if this has been posted somewhere else already. I looked in a few threads and I didn't see any postings about the new Terminal B at Bradley. http://www.stvinc.com/project.aspx?id=412&ser=58&i=1 http://www.stvinc.com/pdf/Bradley%20International%20Airport-1.pdf This company also seems to have experience in adding rail service to airports. Could this be in Bradley's long term future too? http://www.stvinc.com/project.aspx?id=6&ser=58&i=1 http://www.stvinc.com/project.aspx?id=220&m=&s=&div=&ser=58
  5. Doesn't anyone worry that Northland might be gaining a little too much power and influence in the area?
  6. Since this is the Off Topic thread I figured this would be the best place to put this really random comment; I don't know how many of you guys watch Family Guy but they just mentioned Hartford and said that we had a really cool mall here thats kind of under ground (not that I know of). I thought you guys might find this interesting even though this isn't the national exposure we're all hoping for.
  7. I was reading the May 8, 2006 edition of TIME Magazine and I saw a full page ad for Hartford 21 and I was just curious to know if advertising is regional or if that was a national ad? I will post the picture as soon as I get my scanner to work.
