  1. It's not your town. It's the people who live in Nashville town. The ordacity of someone who doesn't even live in Nashville thinking he can decree who holds a meeting here is stark raving lunacy.
  2. The roundabout towers may make up for the lost view by creating an entirely new view.
  3. Maybe they will build something at 111. 36 million is a large chunk of change to just do nothing with.
  4. I wonder is this the project they are spending 36 million for the land to build.
  5. If they want it built they either have to comply with the historic guidelines or build it somewhere else. A couple of options are bidding for the Rolling Mill Hill parking lot when it becomes available or see if they can purchase land from the owners of the stalled Liff Development.
  6. Good. Glass buildings look new now, five years from now, 30 years from now. See One Nashville as an example. It looks like it was just built. New is what people will pay top dollar to live and work in. No one will pay big money for something old looking and decrepit. The people behind these projects know what they're doing.
  7. HCA, Lifeway, Healthstream, Lea, 908, 19th and Broadway, Hyatt House, Skyhouse, SoBro, Ommi, Drury, TriBrand Marriott, Cambria, Margaritaville, AT & T, Fifth Third, Nashville City Center, Renaissance, Tennessee Tower, Sheraton, Double Tree, UBS, L & C, Source, Viridian, Cumberland, Tennessean, Endeavor, Encore, Joseph, Parkway, Broadstone, etc, etc are not blue glass. The all glass buildings don't even amount to half of the buildings in the city.
