Austin and Charlotte consecutively in the top ten. Why are developers choosing Nashville to place their multiple tower with multiple retail developments? It's puzzling.

Does anyone know why Nashville seems to have dozens and dozens and dozens of apartment and condo towers under construction or scheduled to start instead of Austin and Charlotte which have more people?

It's interesting how the developments in Charlotte, Nashville and Austin differs. Austin routinely announces a new building like once every two or three weeks and builds single 1,000, 900, 800, 700 foot residential and office buildings. Nashville also routinely announces developments like once every two or three weeks and builds multi tower mixed use developments that have residential, office, hotel, retail, and entertainment districts. Charlotte's building announcements are not as regular or frequent as the others and are single office towers. Interesting as to how these three cities go about development.

Impressive. Disappointing none of these were built. As a lurker on all of the forums I've noticed something and wonder if any of you know the answer. Charlotte is often mentioned as a peer of Austin and Nashville. However I've noticed that Austin and Nashville routinely announces new buildings. Like on a biweekly basis. With Austin's announcements being single buildings and Nashville's announcements being for multiple buildings. Are developers forgetting about Charlotte or are they deliberately skipping over Charlotte to focus on building in Austin and Nashville?
