With all big higher ed institutions here in the metro area, it is sure great seeing GRCC getting some love.

I was driving past this place last night and noticed very few lights on. Does anyone know the number of units occupied? Also, do we know when the project is supposed to be wrapped up?

mmm.... The old Ground Round.

From Reddit... Looks like the basement of the church I grew up in in the early 90's or a Doctor's office off of East Beltline.

I am not super educated on this topic. Can anyone share how this is different/similar to the Renaissance zones of the late 90's early 2000's?Am I correct that the Renaissance zones were just tax free for something like 10 years?

The Herpolsheimer's train has been restored. Never had the chance to see it back in the day. Going to have to take a visit to the museum. https://www.mlive.com/news/grand-rapids/index.ssf/2018/11/herpolsheimers_iconic_monorail.html

Still no rendering but they should be starting Phase 2 soon. New food and beverage options in the check in/baggage claim area. Anybody have a PDF of what they are planning? https://www.mlive.com/news/grand-rapids/index.ssf/2018/11/multimillion-dollar_constructi.html -

It sure would be nice if there was a small sit down restaurant pre-security to sit down and have a meal with friends/family/coworkers. I remember in the past there was the small sports bar. Just a chill/kill time kind of place. -

Studio Park - $140 Million Celebration Cinema/mixed use project

I could not find the post on the search function, but with this large project going up, has there been any rumblings/talk with the former Tallhouse site? -
I agree. I do hope that whatever they choose to put in its place will still have some well landscaped green space that blends in with the surrounding neighborhood. Fronting Burton, I would love it to resemble the Clark Retirement home complex on Franklin.
