Man, it's nuts with everything going on in Austin. Lived there 2009-2011 and saw the Austonian rise as the new tallest. Crazy it's almost unrecognizable 10 years later.

I actually was driving through this way today and passed the Union Row site..and..they've already started demo! On the Lit and Powerhouse buildings.

This hotel is not on the riverfront nor the site of the original proposed tower but behind it.

Happy this is finally under construction despite all the changes over the past decade or so.

-One Beale has an office tower planned in a later phase (mid-rise apartments/hotel currently starting construction) -100 N Main itself is set to be redeveloped into apartments-- The new 26 story Loews Hotel is also part of this development to the north, and there are also plans for 2 new 30 story office towers south of the 100 N Main building. - Also the Union Row project is set to have 2 office towers as well as a hotel tower in the first phase. -And now the announcement of this. Been a nice few months for big projects downtown! Also, it's nice to see this forum back to life-- long time lurker but rarely post!

Crosstown is just awesome. The sheer size of the building and the fact they got so many different and diverse tenants to make it all work is amazing. It really is like some sort of urban utopia.
