CarMax is opening up it's technology center Downtown! I bet they were having trouble attracting talent to their Goochland headquarters. Hopefully this trend will continue amongst other companies in the suburbs.

I believe there is currently no extra parking planned. The lack of a "park and ride" lot was one of the criticisms I heard against the proposal.

I'm really hoping it will give incentive for this apartment building to go up in place of the current gas station next to the ICA. The ICA is going to make that corridor look so much nicer, it just does not seem fitting that a crappy gas station be next to it.

I'm excited! I think this has solidified my desire to find a house in Church Hill as opposed to south of Byrd Park area. I just hope I can get all my finances in order before it gets built and prices start rising. Also, I wonder how it will handle cyclists who commute to Broad to connect to the BRT.

I think a football team would eventually be very good for VCU, just not right now. I wonder what the next big project is going to be for VCU. On their website, they only have three projects listed, two of which are very close to completion. Looking at their 2020 master plan, they still have quite a bit to go if they're going to get it accomplished.

Are there any large permanent residency developments going up? I see a lot of talk about large office buildings and apartments, but I would love to see another tower of condos.

Have we confirmed the new tower will be between 30 and 40 floors?

Google Maps offers a really good view of how VCU has redeveloped their section of Grace St. Just click forward and it will take you from 2011 to 2015

Everything about the Jackson Ward mixed-use development sounds great except the parking. 147 parking spaces is a lot of surface level parking. It would be much better if less horizontal real estate was used for parking.
