Sometimes I think Duke looks out of place because of how large it is.

Looking at Atlanta's future Streetcar Lines and the fact that we have no clear transit plan, I thought I'd make my own future LYNX Transit Map. Where there is a Streetcar line travelling on, or crossing Tryon, it would operate as wireless. What do you think?

I like it! I never thought of the silver line going that direction but it would make so much more sense. If only cats and the city of Charlotte had this much vision for the future...

Do we know what the time table is for expanding the rest of the platforms on the blue line? Is it possible that they could have it done by the completion of the BLE?

Does anyone know where this is? Light rail borders one side, but I can't ID any streets.
Edit: n/m, it's this thing: http://ww.charmeck.org/Planning/Rezoning/2015/011-023/2015-020%20site%20plan%205th%20rev.pdf
Honestly I don't hate it because it has good street frontage and its not another box store. Just remember we're talking about UC here... It could be so much worse.

I don't know if any of ya'll have ever heard of Brewpublik? Its a Charlotte startup that hand delivers craft beer to your home once a month in wooden crates. If you like craft beer you should go check them out!

That's impressive! But did they really need to make it so enormous to pass over a couple of tracks? That thing must have cost half the budget for the extension.

I hear Phil wants a fountain to replace the tower. Great we can look like a mall from the 90s.... On the bright side there are some nice renderings of a decent looking tower on belktower.com

That sounds like everything I was hoping for! Thank you for the new info. I can't wait to see this thing for myself.
Do we have a timetable for when the deal with the city might be worked out so we can see the renderings?

Not sure why I couldn't get rid of the quote box btw. I apologize.
