Why should the feds offer to help Greenville when local voters voted not to raise the local tax to improve transit? Politically, Gowdy and others will try to help their ultra conservative local town but the intent of these grants is for local participation as well.

Do you think a bridge which carries 6,000 cars per day needs the capacity increased? Or, in light of the funding gaps in SC, money should be spent elsewhere? Is that a Trolling question?
