  1. 10 story residential housing with retail on the first level. The developers did a presentation on the proposed building and provided renderings a couple of months ago.
  2. There was plenty of thought on how it would affect the community. The interstate was intentionally used to destroy it. This was a racist policy done in almost every city in the U.S. with a black community.
  3. What "solutions" were presented? How does the mayor's plan "right the wrong" for the people that were wronged?
  4. More too little too late politics. This has nothing to do with the people that were wronged.
  5. Now that North Nashville is gentrified he's going to engage the people of North Nashville to right the wrong?
  6. DJ did not design this project, doesn't own it, and didn't finance it. He's a front man plain and simple. This project stands out like a sore thumb compared to the other buildings on Jefferson St.
  7. Are these units going to be considered part of Cheatham Place?
  8. The project at the end of Arthur in HBV also looks like it's about to begin. Agentemo, do you know the other person with the Kudzo home right off Arthur on 11th?
  9. I haven't looked at any numbers recently, but it seems to me that HBV has caught up with Hope Gardens for price/sf and land values. Is that not true?
  10. The price of that building would have to come way down or land values would have to increase significantly for a tear down to make sense. That building will be sitting there for a while.
  11. It looks like they own a number of vacant lots in the area. I'm not sure if they've done anything with any of them.
  12. She is speaking as a person that lives in the community, not only as an investor. If you asked other people in that community you would hear more of the same. She did a good job being one of the voices for that community.
