  1. That is quite epic. Speaking of work off Broad. I imagine within 3-5 years the two 1 story buildings (one's a NY Life agency and the other is a business supplies company) will be torn down to make way for either a mid-rise or better retail/offices. With all the trees gone those buildings look really old and dated.
  2. Really hope that with our new building (EP 360), this hotel, etc will spur some good retail/restaurants of Broad. It's a nice little area and near the Liberty Bridge as well. Great area for shopping, food, etc.
  3. Yup it is quite close. Especially if you walk to publix and look at it from McBee. I'm envisioning a movie sequence/car chase where the guy is trapped at the top of the garage and boom! Flies over the garage to Church St. and escapes...
  4. And construction cams! https://www.truelook.com/tl/app/?u=he1436300322#tl_live https://www.workzonecam.com/projects/hughescommercial/ep3/ep3
  5. Yup, lots of stuff going on. Good pics gman430. I took a few walking through the parking lot just to document everything. Going to be neat once it's all done.
  6. Yup, only 5 story's. I think originally was going to be taller but nixed down to current size. Our company will be on 2 floors along with our current building (one connected via the sky bridge). The historical building that we use will be turned over I'm assuming for whoever wants it.
  7. aaannnnnddd press release went out today along with some updated renderings. Check the news. Woot! edit: official Greenville Online article: http://www.greenvilleonline.com/story/news/local/2015/04/15/new-erwin-penland-building-will-change-downtown-skyline/25824443/
  8. Well, construction should start in next 45-60 days. Just got the internal announcement yesterday that things are moving forward. Guess they need to test for bedrock, etc. But you'll start seeing some action going on shortly. Cannot wait! Going to be a beautiful building with some cool stuff in and around it. Yay!
  9. Now that's some cool looking concepts!
  10. Hi all, Good speculation. One of my co-workers and I have been trying to figure out where the supposed building is going to go as well. We're thinking that it's either going between the church and EP1 or the church is going to get demolished/moved. Like others said I don't foresee EP1 being torn down. It's a historical building and pretty cool (interior is quite solid and we recently did some 1st floor remodeling). It's not a marketing hype for sure. Joe Erwin has been keeping us employees informed and updated every few months and he's been working on this since 2011 at the earliest! We're growing by leaps and bounds for sure. Both EP1 and EP2 are full and we're on 2 floors of the Suntrust/GHS building now as well. So trying to find one roof for 300+ people can be challenging. It's exciting to see this and we've not received any confirmations or denials from internal as of yet. All still up in the air. On a side note there have been surveyors out in the parking lot by the church this week and even today. Speculate away!
