  1. Soft opening for Catch On Seafood this weekend (in the corner of the old volume lounge)..
  2. Well, it looks like Healthy Home Market has opened, with Yama next door, and Catch On Seafood soon to open. Also, it looks like Nova's might be adding a second story on to the bakery in back. Does anyone know anything about this?
  3. Any timelines for groundbreaking on either of these projects?
  4. That's great news! Any news on the old J&J Beauty Supply Store? Also - Tuft, the consignment furniture just opened up next to Pint Central.
  5. Also, the old J&J Beauty Supplies between the new Healthy Home Market and Yama Izakaya now has their windows covered with brown paper. Does anyone know what is going in there and if there is any news on putting a patio in front of Yama and Bistro La Bon?
  6. I just walked by the old No Grease Salon, and all of the windows are covered in brown paper so it looks like Workmen's Friend might actually be happening.
  7. Does anyone have any renderings of the proposed Greystar tower?
  8. Additionally, I was talking with someone at Yama Izakaya, the new Japanese place going up next to Bistro Labon, and evidently there are talking about taking out the row of parking spaces in front of Bistro, Yama, and Healthy Home Market to make a patio with outdoor seating for those businesses. Nothing final, but would definitely be cool.
  9. I was over at the new space for Catch On Seafood (in the old Volume Lounge space) last night and was speaking with the owners. During our conversation they mentioned that there are plans to re-open Volume Lounge as a new bar with pool tables and foosball tables along with plans to build a 5000 sq ft deck on top of the former Volume Lounge with a raw bar.
