  1. I will be interesting in going to a meeting in the future, will check out this thread regularly, family weekend due to Easter
  2. Don’t have an account at Nashville Post but per their post, Stalled Salemtown Cottages development slated to resume with Miken Development & HR Properties to take over the 24-home project. I wonder if they will put up a sound barrier wall as there are several new townhouses & renovations going up at the extreme north end. http://www.trulia.com/property/1068071256-1818-7th-Ave-N-Nashville-TN-37208 http://www.trulia.com/property/3139538498-1816-7th-Ave-N-Nashville-TN-37208
  3. A team of University of Maryland graduate students has taken top honors at the 2014 Urban Land Institute Student Urban Design Competition with its plan to redevelop Nashville’s Sulphur Dell neighborhood. The UofM design, called Chords, proposes a partnership between existing private owners or property in Sulphur Dell and the State of Tennessee. 163 teams comprising 815 students from 72 universities in the United States and Canada participated in the competition. 4. Affordable places to eat will have to be part of the Jefferson St revitalization once the ball park goes up. Someone is going to put in a great sports bar and make a fortune. Nicer grocery store unlikely to happen as the Farmer's Market will probably throw a fit, the Kroger on Rosa is improving, but needs a complete renovation of of the building, and managers. Read in the Tennessean that the African American Music Museum will be downtown on Broadway in the new concept that is replacing the old Convention Center. I sent a tweet to the article's author if he knew what the lot will be used for, no response yet
