  1. Great news, Orlando recently became home to another Fortune 1000 corporate headquarters! Largest publicly traded Companies based in Orlando. 1) Darden (Fortune 500) @7.2 billion 2) Wyndham Time Share @4.3 billion 3) Tupperware 4) Hilton Time Share 5) Marriot Vacation Club 6) Seaworld Entertainment (Seas) I think these are the only publicly traded companies based in Orlando with over $1 billion in annual revenues. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/brinkmann-on-business/os-bz-wyndham-timeshare-orlando-20170803-story.html
  2. Does anyone on this board actually live in Lake Eola? I'm curious to see how the addition of 420 and Citi Tower new residents have impacted the area local businesses, density and street life. 420 added @300 units and Citi another @230 units. @ 800 more residents total between the two buildings. Thanks

  4. I don't live in Orlando but with 420, Citi and Modera building adding an additional @880 units/ 1,300 residents to the area this will be good for neighbourhood density. I wonder how Modera will blend into South Eola
  5. My guess is the developers are waiting for Citi Tower and Modera occupancy rates, before starting another rental project. The developers have certain target numbers they have to meet to make this or any other project feasible.

  7. I created a thread for Lake Eola area https://www.urbanplanet.org/forums/topic/117895-lake-eola-neighbourhood/
  8. I took the pictures at lake Eola, I estimate they were about 400-500 people throughout the park. I was also impressed by the emerging skyline of South Eola area. 420 building @300 units Citi @230 units and now and the other building bringing @ 350 units your looking at an additional 880 units times that by 1.5 per unit and you got over 1,300 new residents. Another 4-5 230ft + high rises at 250 units each add 1000-1250 units which would do wonders to the neighbourhood. My observations from a visitor perspective. I'm speaking of Sout Eola, they seemed to be enough open land to add another 4-5 more highrises without building anything else on Lake Eola park.

  11. Every big city has competing suburban office markets. Case in point DC. Fact is Tampa/St.Pete has a way bigger corporate base of Fortune 500 & 1000 headquartered companies Tech Data, Jabil, WellPoint, HSI (Outback), Raymond James, HSN etc etc etc. Besides Darden not too many Fortune 1000 companies HQ in Orlando. Not trying to do a city vs city battle.
  12. I took these pictures yesterday around 11:00AM on 10/22/2016. Huntington Metro Station and North Kings Highyway both in Fairfax County.
