Any news on the Roxy Theater? The re-opening of that gem would be amazing....I can see a venue like the Louisville Palace, maybe? Has anyone thought about asking Oprah to donate? Her daddy's barber shop is right down the street....hahaha just kidding, I don't think Oprah would care. After living in Lockeland Springs for 16 years, I got fed up with the yuppies and bought a gorgeous historical home in Cleveland Park & am in paradise! It's like Lockeland used to be! I love all the new businesses and revitalization, but I don't like listening to vapid rich people babble incessantly on their cell phones while I'm trying to relax on my back porch. Of course I was very happy with the profit made on the sale of my home, but, to me, East Nashville is all about diversity and not jerks moaning and lamenting about having to live near *shudder* poor people. Whoever the "guest" who posted a bunch of right-wing mumbo jumbo about lazy people living off the government needs to live in Brentwood and stay out of my hood.
