From the looks of the drawing, it's the only building that stays. Unfortunately it looks like it will be the second tallest building other than a new tower as well.

I was driving by there today and thought it looked a bit empty. Personally I think they should get rid of the two low rise to the all the way to the west and clear everything to VB Blvd. Start TC North with few nice mid/high rise on the Blvd, and work your way in from there. Retail and residential closer to VB Blvd and business closer to the apartments. Have all public entrances face away from those apartments. It's not exactly a good neighborhood unfortunately.

I would love to see the entire site east of Constitution bulldozed and made into 4+ new blocks of hi-rise goodness with the Tide station where the Regal is now.

Great news!! Being a Town Center resident I look forward to the Tide, or whatever the city wants to call it, going from DT Norfolk to the Oceanfront.

Nah, they would have built two 38 story hotels. VA Beach can't have open space, especially at the strip...

Looks like Jason's Deli has finished it's move to the old Max and Erma's.

You would think they would want to build it with the plan of having it in place at the time of completion. Less parking needed if more people can get a ride via the Tide...

Noooo!!!!! I want the Gateway tower first. As a resident they do too much fun stuff in that parking lot for them to develop it next. I know it's going to happen, I just want it later rather than sooner.

I wish they could do more of this mixed retail/residential along Atlantic from the loop to Laskin.

Francesca's opened this past Friday in Town Center, and Paper Source is opening this coming Friday. Both are on Main St on either side of Zushi.

Johnston and Murphy closed over the weekend. Sign is gone, and there is a note on the door. Most of the merchandise has been packed up.

I'd rather they build the tower on the Beacon building lot first. It would add more parking in the long run, and my parking would be less affected

LOL no, that's the Builder's Square. The Sam's Club was a HQ also, and don't forget the Hechenger's which is now the Barn's and Noble/FYE/other stuff Fun part of that is I think they were all owned by the same company before they went under.

Same place, I don't remember the Ames, but it was an HQ for a while. Didn't know about the Wally World going up there though. Seems almost a waste with the Walmart Super Center by Town Center...

I'd rather a Microsoft Store over apple. At least won't be overpaying for a name.

Looks like the old Red Star is getting cleaned out. While walking the dog yesterday, saw that there were people working inside. Didn't go and look in, and nothing is posted on the doors about someone new moving in. But there is at least something going on with it.

Looks like something is moving in at the other end of the Dick's building. They've been working in it all week.

I want to know what they plan on doing with the parking garage. Seems silly to have 2 story parking if you only have a 1 story mall.

Driving down the Blvd and noticed Max and Erma's was closed. Checked the website and that location is no longer listed.
