  1. In the Plan for Sobro Lindsley was supposed to connect through to Lafayette (improving the street grid) If for some reason they can't extend all the way down Ash to 2nd, why don't they connect Lindsley to Lafayette, make Lindsley a two way street, which would allow a flow all the way from the Gulch to Rolling Mill Hill.
  2. The more activation of this area the better. Hopefully we'll get some developments in the near future that activate KVB.
  3. Well that's disappointing. Connecting all the way to 2nd would have greatly improved this area of SoBro's connectivity and increased it's future development potential. 20 years from now I expect we'll regret such a decision (not a huge deal, but does have an impact...)
  4. I'm really impressed by all the great new restaurants that have come to Nashville...there's more and more options, which makes Nashville a city that's more and more enjoyable to go out at night in...
  5. Speaking of the division street connector, when will that happen? I remember reading an article earlier this year about the city fixing the street grid down in the SoBro area (which needs to be done), but last time I was down there I don't think anything was being done...is this more of a long term vision, or are they going to get to work on it soon?
  6. The 8th/Lafayette/KVB area definitely has a lot of potential as there's plenty of open opportunity for future developments. Having a large work of art that can "anchor" the area makes sense to me. Now they just need to work on the street grid down there as it's a jumbled mess (definite hindrance to development)
  7. It seems like most of the Stop Amp group's concern lies in traffic congestion from "lanes being taken away". If we're going to open up the parking lanes currently there (making the loss minimal) , the mayor should address the issue head on and alleviate some of the opponents concerns
  8. New to urbanplanet. Great information here, you guys really do a great job of staying on the ball of what's going on around town. In regards to WES, there must be some interesting discussions going on between HCA and different developers. If HCA ends up going downtown because another developer was able to make it all come together, that would be a pretty impressive steal.
