I do think it's a little odd that Chipotle is not in a lot more central Arkansas locations yet. Everywhere I have been that had Chipotles, there have been tons of them. Give them time. I'm sure there will be a NLR and Conway location in the next few years. Side note...On the Border opens Sept. 30.

I was wondering what happened to that place. It seemed to have a good number of people whenever I was there. The hours kept changing. I know we tried to go a couple of times and they were closed.

Construction fencing is now up around the Arkla building.

Which Wich is open now in NLR. Ate there this weekend and it's alright. Nothing amzingly fancy but definitely a large variety of sandwiches. I would put it in the range of a Firehouse or Quizno's type of place.

Please excuse my poor qaulity photo of the new Bass Pro Shop. I was on the opposite side of I-30 and couldn't get a good shot over the median wall. It is coming along nicely. -
It seems like way back, I am remembering an Arby's and/or Zaxby's mentioned in that general area.

The On The Border a few years back was 4th in the country in sales. The guys from the Dallas home office visited several times to see what could be done at other stores to improve numbers. Chuy's opening just down the road will definitely put a damper on that. -
Drove by the old Kroger building and some major work has been done on the facade and a large wall is being constructed. No sign was posted so I pulled up into the parking lot and I looked in through the doors. Disappointingly it is being converted into an indoor, climate controlled storage unit building. There are several rows of units that go all the way across the building. I was really hoping for something more. Oh well, at least it won't be an empty building anymore.

Dirt work appears to be starting for On The Border. Bulldozers and Backhoes were dropped off there earlier this week. A group of workers appeared to be walking around and marking things as well.

Conway is getting a second Chick-fil-a at Prince and Farris near the new Walmart neighbodhood market location. This intersection will also be a new 4 lane roundabout.

I checked with my dad because his company put in a bid for fire sprinklers for On the Border. He said the address listed was on the frontage road in front of Academy Sports. There is an empty lot there to the left of the Academy parking lot.

-I have been to which wich in Dallas and it was quite tasty. You build you own sandwich on an order sheet. Good to know there is one in Searcy. -I know that On The Border is sending out bid packs for a location in Sherwood which may be the spot by Whole Hog depending on where the city line falls. -Does anyone know what construction is going on at Dillards in McCain? There is a large crain and several work trucks.
