Exactly why I haven't been excited about a single one of these projects- they're building all of these complexes that are completely ridiculously priced and destroying the vibe of the area. I'm sorry, but this project should've NEVER been approved, and it's upsetting that the locals allowed it.

I can't even imagine how insane it would be to have Orlando host a Super Bowl, but I doubt that will ever happen in the history of ever. Still drives me nuts that we could've had the Bucs and basically sat on their hands. You know what i've absolutely never heard anyone mention trying to do in Orlando, though? An MLB team. Why is someone not at least trying to lure TB to this market? It would absolutely be a good market for baseball and likely could build a stadium/parking garage in the area of CampyLand. It'll likely be caught up in red tape, i'm sure, but i'm surprised nobody has even so much as proposed it.

Super Bowl XXVII was played at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena No NFL team plays there. Just sayin.

Just wrap the second floor facade that's on Church St around to that side of the building, maybe a mural, put some benches out there and be done with it.

Well I know we need more lanes either way. I just we didn't have to pay for the region being so many decades behind meeting the traffic projections for central Florida.

It's comical to me that we're having to suffer through years of traffic, but we're keeping the exact same number of free lanes and just adding another way for the state to make money off of people using the primary thruway in Central Florida. I know i'll be lambasted for this, but it would be nice if something as basic as getting around didn't have to be based on a tiered pay system that people defend as a great way for the state to make money instead of, I dunno, a road to get to and from work. How about we just widen the darn highway and keep all of the lanes free and we not try and collect yet more money off of people........ sorry, just annoyed. This project has annoyed me since they announced it. Sorry, but i'm not excited whatsoever about a free road becoming a partial toll road.

They also mentioned possibly axing Cheyenne, which would be such a massive loss. I really hope they don't do this.

IF they tear down some of the most historical buildings in downtown to build a twin to that dud, it'd be quintessential Orlando, honestly.

I think all they did was ensure no retail or food competition for their building. Really always thought that's all the demolition was about.

I know I don't come here for this garbage, and i'm willing to bet nobody else does, either. I find it hilarious that we build storage facilities with steel frame but build residences- ones called STEELHOUSE, for cryin out loud- out of wood. Gotta make sure all that stuff sitting in storage is super secure, I guess.

This project is seriously annoying. Plus, I was thinking.... the real moneyshot from Orlando City Stadium is seeing the skyline looking east. After this thing gets built, all you're gonna be able to see is this hotel.
