It is refreshing seeing the 485 loop in Google Maps! Even if it is technically not complete. Oh Well.

Google updated their aerials in maps. 485 looks great! ... as well as all the other developments around town. The density appears to have grown so much in Uptown, Noda, and South End (now that all of the recent developments are finally showing up on the maps). Lots of foundations - can't wait for the next aerial update!.

The new ramp from I-485 to I-85 South has opened in the turbine interchange. One step closer to being complete!

Looks like construction is really starting to begin on N Tryon near UNCC. Finally!

There is also a rezoning request for a large tract of land on Long Pine Rd (near Outback) for more restaurants, a hotel, etc.

http://www.prosperityhucksplan.com/ Multiple banners/signs up around Prosperity Church Rd/Ridge Rd not in favor of multi-family development with the proposed development across from the Harris Teeter at Loganville & Ridge Rd. I guess this development is 'too urban' for this part of town...ridiculous.

Yeah, I was hoping they were going to turn the new high-mast lights on, at the least. Hopefully the turn the lights on at the Loganville traffic circles as well. They are making some progress though!

The Odell School Rd/DDI bridge over I-485 and Ridge Rd connector is finally open for traffic (Mallard Creek Rd was realigned to travel through a DDI interchange over I-485 and travel under the new Ridge Rd brindge to connect to Odell School Rd). The temporary traffic signal at Ridge Rd/Mallard Creek Rd has been taken down. No more nasty traffic back ups, for now at least. The DDI is looking awesome!
