It's just Icon, with new ownership. Nothing new, except paint and lights probably.

It's World of Beer
This WOB will have food, unlike the other WOB's. Part of the agreement for the location. Have fun with valet!

They should just merge the existing route and the creative route together in a hybrid route. Three routes is too much. Agreed, the east/west route should hit the Amway at some at some point (Division/Church). The north/south route would be great for downtown residents to get to the hospital and the sodo merchants and restaurants. That's unfortunate. (Oh but wait, we can take a loud locomotive down that way? Oh, there's no stop down there? Oh, that's right.) Can we at least get bus cut out's on Orange for a compromise?

I got a glimpse of a sign posted on a window next to Burtons in thorton park called Tailgates. Is it a new bar anyone knows?
That's Burton's gig. They been working on that for years.

Agreed! If I had money, I would def open up a bar or restaraunt across the arena on Church St. Those vacant spaces fronting Church have so much potential. What was shocking to me was that some of the businesses werent even opened while people were waiting outside the arean (ie. that carribean restaraunt). Are you kidding me?? Talking about opportunities lost.
I bet $5 they didn't even tell the restaurant guy that all that was happening during those days. Island time. Oh, and they gave him last year's Magic schedule...
Those businesses recently renewed their leases 2-3 years ago with the City. (10 year lease). The rent in those spaces is peanuts and pocket lint.

As for Burtons? No way.
Burton's is Downtown's Orlando best "non-HD" and "non-Liquor" bar!

A friend of mine heard rumors that Burton's is closing? Any truth to that? Hope not.
There's no way that Burton's could be closing, they just put a new $5,000 AC in last month.

Quoted from castorvx: Well they fixed the light but now the spire is off.
Great new pic! Thanks, especially with the police car on I4! Been down to the Amway Experience Center on the 2nd floor of The Exchange yet? So super great to see all the store fronts inside again. And cleaned up for that matter! Brings back the old days walking around in there.

HECK YES!!!!
Someone seriously walk over there and tell them to change that light bulb before tonight... ADD is kickin'.

That is a nice picture of the Amway Center, the colors look like something in Miami.
I really hope they hurry up and change that one burned out light bulb, that thing has been distracting for weeks now... anticipation anticipation!
