  1. It looks like White House/Black Market has started construction. According to their facebook, Blanc Burgers and Bottles is negotiating a new lease with the center? So i guess that's why there hasn't been any progress. I really hope 2011 is the year for the Promenade... Does anyone think that some of the stores that were on the original site plan a couple of years ago will recommit to the promenade? Like Apple, J. Crew, Select Comfort, Lucky Brand Jeans, bebe, Talbots, J. Jill, Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works? Also an interesting article about Little Rock shopping, Pleasant Ridge, and the Promenade...http://sync.arkansasonline.com/news/2010/nov/23/talking-shop/
  2. Flirt opened and is on the outside of the promenade next to the eyecare place and the nail place. Paul's Shoes also opened next to the dogs place. Anthropologie is opening Friday, and Blanc said they are trying to open in October, but it might be November. Any other news?
  3. I was at the promenade last night. Blanc looks like it is done with construction for the most part. You can see inside. You can't really tell with the Wine Loft, but it does have walls sticking out which makes it look like they are doing some construction. About Anthropologie, I read somewhere that they were going for an August opening and they have signs up that say "opening fall 2010." Also, Paul's Shoes has a sign up right next to the just dogs place. And a place called the Tavern has a sign up in the same building as wine loft right behind it on the outside of the mall.
  4. Has White House/Black Market started construction?
  5. Has anyone heard anything about Dick's Sporting Goods coming to the promenade? It seems like we were pretty confident that they were coming when the promenade was first being built. The reason why I ask is because the employees at the dick's sporting goods in Hot Springs told us that they were going to open a store in Little Rock along with a few other locations in Arkansas, and so I was just wondering if they were still planning to put a store in the promenade.<div><br></div><div><br><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>
  6. Well that's good! Does anyone think that Anthropologie opening could convince some of the other stores to finally open? And does anyone know when Blanc is supposed to open?
  7. Are we sure that Anthropologie is coming? Or was that just a possibility?
  8. Well, American Eagle closed fast, but it looks like The Wine Loft is finally starting construction.
  9. Ya seriously, it's getting really annoying being one of the biggest areas without an Apple store when we were supposed to get one two years ago. I would rather it be at the promenade, but at this point I just want one to open in Little Rock.
  10. Driving through the promenade, I noticed a sign that said Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. I don't know exactly what it was, but it was hanging on the building that Blanc is going into. Also the bebe sign was ripped up, it wasn't completely gone, but it was very scratched up.
  11. I hope Apple goes to Park Plaza before Park Avenue. And if it does end up in the Forever 21 spot, it seems like it would be a pretty big store if I'm thinking correctly. And back to the promenade, does anyone know an opening date for Bravo or Blanc? Has The Wine Loft even started construction? Any other news?
  12. Wait, so is the spot at Park Plaza that was looking for an "electronics/specialty" tenant a year ago currently occupied by Forever 21?
  13. He didn't say anything else about new stores other than the four we already know about (The Wine Loft, Blanc, Bravo, Charming Charlie).
  14. Awesome! It's good to know that we're pretty confident that Apple will come to Little Rock. I also thought that apple would probably not come to the chenal promenade until I emailed Jim Davis at the promenade asking him if Apple was out of the picture now, and he replied saying it's not out of the picture and they are still working with Apple.
  15. I live fairly close to the promenade and I go there quite a bit. I love Ya Ya's! But I would like to see more stores open up, especially an Apple store. If you don't mind me asking, who is your reliable source that said apple was going to be a no-show?
