  2. Notice to Proceed Issued. http://www.multihousingnews.com/news/novare-batson-cook-and-grubb-proceed-on-charlottes-skyhouse-uptown/1004098852.html
  3. If this is a joke then i am not amused. I have longed for a Wegman's since the day i moved to Charlotte. I contacted their PR department a couple of years ago asking about a potential location, and their replay was something along the lines of, "Not any time soon." Use to have a Wegmans 5 mins from my house back in Jersey. Best gourmet grocery store I've ever been too, better than Whole Foods, IMO.
  4. My daughter goes. "Daddy why you laughing so hard?".. This be why. Love your wrecking ball Ricky!
  5. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not, but i was bored and poking around on aca.accela.com/charlotte and saw that there's still a $72,300.00 storm water mitigation fee outstanding. Perhaps they're still trying to dispute this and is a reason for delay? Btw -If anyone wishes to pay it by credit card you can. my card limit isnt that high. perhaps another day.
  6. You able to disclose which general contractors are bidding this? Or is this a GC at Risk Project? I've checked out the "big 3" plan rooms (Balfour Beatty, Bovis, Baston Cook) and can't find anything on this.
  7. According to this a re submission of MEPs is required for permitting. But that was back in June. https://webpermit.mecklenburgcountync.gov/WebStatMap/PosseStatMapTables.aspx?PrjNbr=332332 i don't know what to make of this...Shouldn't take 2 months to throw together some addendum drawings and get them resubmitted. If you click "See all StatMap Notes' you can read all the comments by the plan reviewer.
  8. Anyone know what type of grass they're putting down? If its bermuda they'll have to spray it green.
  9. Subcontractor bids were due feb 22, i didn't bid on this job, so i dont know if there were any bid extension dates. Normally if there are too many RFI's they'll extend the date, or if bids come in to high, they'll put it back out for re-bid. Haven't seen any of that.
  10. Let me help you guys out. Follow this link http://www.plans-online.com/project_detail.php?proj=6757. You can find 50% CDs (construction documents) here.
  11. HAHAHA.. You sure got me on that one. It was a little more believable than Buffalo wild Wings saying they're no longer serving beer.
  12. I couldn't find a thread for this, but after watching Eat St. i have a craving for whatever is coming out a food truck. Are there any places in Charlotte that i can find one of these? If so, what are they serving and how is it? If anyone has ever been to Rutgers University and has been to the grease trucks, they know how awesome these trucks can be. Gotta find one.
  13. Sounds like the same marketing technique they used for The Catalyst. Do i smell possible rentals in the near future??
