I was just looking at the site map for Columbiana and it showed that another anchor store will be added to the mall. It is going between JCPenney & Dillard's at the entrance. Macy's? Edit: If you would like to see it: Columbiana Site Plan

That location is bigger. The recession is not affecting SouthPark much. However, it has in the Macy's wing. There are two stores empty. If Steve Madden, Illuminations, The Children's Place close, the Macy's wing will be almost half empty. I wish upscale stores would go there, but I doubt that. Aeropostale, Hallmark, Lids, Stride Rite, SouthPark optical, & Mansion do not belong in the mall.

I wonder what they will get rid of for Barneys NY Co-Op. If it is two levels, then why does it have to be BNY Co-Op, not BNY? I wish it was a BNY. However, it is so awesome Phipps is getting a new Barney's New York Co-op.

I went on Saturday also. It was very full. Where are the empty stores on the lower level? I hope they are not empty because that is the high end wing for Haywood (Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor, Pottery Barn, Coach, J.Crew, etc.). The mall seems to be doing well.

Look at the Phipps Plaza Sitemap:Mall Fact Sheet. It is a pdf on page 17. Guess that they will get rid of NikeTown or something.
