I don't understand why these things can't be built simultaneously? Why can't we have a golden age of rail infrastructure in this nation?

Also got the chance to go up to the Oyster Point area last weekend, was very happy with the Red Star Tavern up there, much better then the one in VB's Town Center in my opinion-

Yup, don't forget llight rail should be included in the midtown tunnel, as well as the 3rd crossing.

We are also the only port on the east coast able to handle the new maersk superships.(channel depth and crane length/capacity) Well explode in growth once the panama canal expansion is finished. CraneY! island is critical.

Well we are changing that soon with the addition of all sorts of apartments and stuff, condos will pick up again after the recession. More people will start to live in downtown, then the resturants will come.

Woah! Beast pics of downtown! Its becoming denser and denser! Sooner or later taller towers will be needed!
Also what is that construction at the bottom of the third picture? Is that related to the belmont?

By flyover i mean a bridge to get the line into the median so it does not have to cross any lanes of traffic.\
Dont forget we need an airport line as well. Though quick shuttles between millitary station and the airport can do for now.

Hampton further up to road towards ODU has more of a median, so mabe they can restructure the road so the light rail can goo through the center up there. Hampton and Colley in ghent are too tight though. The tracks can join hampton at the railtracks by means of a flyover.

also light rail to NC?!! Thats crzy! It has to be commuter rail! And that it would not split at harbor park!
