    Since we are on the topic of eyesore ramps, if I may get off topic slightly, the Campus ramp is hideous. I'd like to see something done with that. It's gross looking. Ok, sorry for the derailment.

    Growing up in Lapeer, living in a large, developing city is really exciting to me.

    This building changes the area dramatically. Imagine when its more finished and not bare beams.

    This is exactly how i feel about it. Still, it will fill in a pretty vacant hole in the skyline from Van Andel, and that will be nice.

    I knew it changed from 20 stories to 14. I just wasn't sure if had changed again, to 18? That's the height I gathered from GRDad's post.

    Yeah, this thing is happening. I hope October is it, and it is finally going up. The highrise is going dramatically change that corner. Now if only the Market lot would be developed....

    I went to eat at Slow's yesterday. The line was obnoxious, and for 15 minutes, we didn't even move. So we went to Memphis Smoke House instead on Monroe. The place was empty, but man, the food was OUTSTANDING. And reasonably priced.
