That Twin Peaks Foto of the Rincoln Hill Tower and the house with 2 green windows is really beautiful.
I love how you chose to show the most complex part of the picture, the sea of houses, in a very small "box". It shows how hectic and claustrophobic the big city is, and how people can get trapped in it, emotionally and physically. In contrast, you showed the peaceful setting of the house on Twin Peaks, by choosing big, calm areas, the roof, the sky, the walls of the house. These areas are much larger than the cutout of the city in the distance, and it shows the viewer how much calmer it is here, up on the hill.
The relatioinship between the Rincoln Hill Tower and the chimney of the house is very moving, for lack of a better word. It really shows your talent for composition and storytelling, without getting sentimental in a Spielbergian way. I can't wait to see the completion of your Painted People novel, for this picture reminds me somehow of this story.
