Salsaritas would be nice downtown.

It can be difficult to find a seat a Hickory Tavern. I know a lot of people who really want a Delaney's Speakeasy downtown. Outside of the smoke, that bar has a nice atmosphere with good jazz music. When did Oscar's close up?

Eastside Meets is located between Barnetts Garage and Bolton-James. They are very friendly and have great cuts of meat. I hardly make it to the Fresh Market anymore. I buy all of my meat at Eastside and all of my seafood at Sellers.

I used to be a regular at the Nu-Way. It is a great place but the smoke is an issue for me as well. You should try Hickory Tavern. They are open late, have a great bar area, deck, and dining area. It is relaxed and not as cramped as the Nu-Way. Just wanted to add this as well: I have enjoyed reading through all of your posts. I like what you are doing here and I look forward to joining your discussions.
