I have heard the concourse B Extension was part of the US/UA merger plan , but that didn't happen so i don't know if thats still part of it or not. If it all carrys through clt would like a entirely different airport.

I was reading through my issue of Airports of the world and i saw that Clt was in the top Ten american airports for On times departures last year.

Charlotte to Chicago Midway has officially been dropped by Airtran Airways.

Does anyone have updates on the latest info from the Dot on Columbia the last i heard US Airways was appealing.

yes its cali....they just want the frequency not the city, i suppose they would still fly to Bogota it sounds like.

US is internally appealing and or going after Co's Iah-CLO frequency.

thsi and the fact that airlines havn't announced anything about this new service to columbia on their website makes me wonder i this was just a saying or if this really was approved.....know wht i mean.

Delta already has Bog from Atl CO already has bog from Iah and EWR SPirit already flys to another Columbian city....and what does dot do......not allow a carry that has no service to South America and give the rest additional service..........US is giong to apeal for sure......

it shows coming back in May...Delta also stopped their Slc but it came back last week.

The master plan of the airport shows a hotel placed in between the Commuter and international terminal.

Thats a shame....i love travelling in and out of Clt iv even connected their on from gso one time i can't see how its the 6th most miserable airport to travel through .

Are both Tucson and Sacremento going on as year round. That surprises me alot......expecially Tucson.

they had the pdx service last year....between two freightliner bases its wonder it isn't year round.

CDG sounds good its about time they brought that back was their any other routes talked about. Just looked on wikipedia and starting June Second Clt-TUS and Starting June 3rd CLT-SMF PHL-SMF. It is up on Usairways site.

Wikipedia says Bogota may start October 1st and i was hoping for cities like CDG, MAN, FCO,and ZURICH.....from Charlotte.......with the State of the Art International terminal that can't be built fast enough for me ....oh yeah and what kind of plane would operate CLT-BOG and would it be daily?

Eventually when they do make the line to Charlotte Douglas Internatonal airport it will be light rail not street car/trolly.....i sure hope so.......y did they take the mooresville station and the one after that off north line?
