They could put it to the left where the gray unfinished area is currently. Plenty of room there for a big block S. Then again, they might have just decided to go with the sign that is there currently. Only time will tell... One thing for sure, we can all be glad it's Michigan State in our city and not some other school with a lousy football team.

The city of Miami has a system similar to this one. It works very good for me. It is nice getting a text message telling you that your time is about to expire, and then you can just call back and add more time. The GR system seems a little different where you have to call back when you are finished. I actually like that better, because in Miami I have to guess how long I need and they charge an additional $.35 "convenience fee" everytime you call to add time. I think this is a good move.

Didn't Medtronic in GR sell to some other company? I worked there around 2000, but then took another job as it was apparent that the place was going to be sold. They still have a presence in GR other than selling the goods that are made in GR by the new contract manufacturer?

Did my undergrad at MSU...will always be a Spartan. GVSU is a nice school, but unfortunately not many people have heard of it outside of MI. Maybe they should change the name to Grand Rapids State or something.

MSU has lots to offer and excells in many areas. For example, MSU's nuclear physics program is second only to MIT. To compare MSU to GVSU is ridiculous, and that is coming from a person with degrees from both. http://www.msu.edu/thisismsu/points_pride.html

GR was featured on ABC or NBC world news tonight last week, can't remember which...about pharmacies not carrying birth control or condoms. They featured Kay Pharmacy and he won't carry either. Saw it down here in Miami.
