    Well I didn't really take the comparison to Phoenix as degrading....if they would have compared Charlotte to say...like Boise ID or let's say Jackson MS,,,,then I might be grimacing while reading the article.

    It is Amazon's new operations in Concord. Actually opened up around the mid part of December.

    I agree with you "Michaelef".....according to an article in the Charlotte Business Journal in the "news section" today, they "we are suppose to know the name of the company in a few weeks". I wonder if the city and county were voting on two different inventive packages for two different companies!

    No this site plan is apparently for a different development located further north on Highway 49. The proposed shopping center listed in the Daily Independent is just inside the southern limits of Harrisburg....like 1/4 mile from the Cabarrus and Mecklenburg county line.

    There are still some job announcements around the state in the last several months. I do agree that the Charlotte metro region is not as well represented in these announcement as opposed to the past couple of years. And rest assured Pat Mac will attend a jobs creation press conference.     Another great location is the Airport Park that overlooks the runway. I usually wait there if I have to pick someone up at the airport.
