I've been experimenting with a 3D terrain generator for Photoshop. Here is Charlotte's topography; the northeast to southwest ridge through uptown is clear. Irwin Creek is on the left (west) and Little Sugar Creek is on the right (east) of uptown.

Well, well, well. If that's the case and you're not joshing us, you made quite the transformation - from driving people away to being one of the best reasons to visit the site. Well done, lad. I've used these guys on several projects – plumbing, flooring, lighting/electrical, siding/fascia repair, etc., and have been really happy with them.

Settler's Cemetery yesterday. The Charlotte Landscape Management workers were resetting gravestones and monuments that had been knocked over. The one guy told me that one of the monuments they lifted has to be reset about 15 times per year since vandals knock it over so much. Bonus photo of Thomas Polk's grave.

Still space for it in the trees on the left, where Robert D. Snyder Rd. is stubbed off.

C-17s arrived at the ANG yesterday. These replace the C-130s that had been with the 145th AW for awhile. Prepare for these flying low over the city!
