Signal priority would be awesome. Around 5:00 or 6:00 LMD is extremley congested. I had a class that got done at 5:15 downtown and another starting at 6:00 in Allendale and I would usually get to Allendale at about 6:15 by bus. If a rail line were to get built, I'm sure GVSU would pay for the annual costs. It would be interesting to see how much they pay a year now for bus service. The line could also be extended all the way to Lake Michigan in the future.

I think a rail line connecting GVSU would be fantastic. Standale and Allendale are growing fast and would greatly benefit from this. I almost always have to stand on the 50, it's packed. The only problem would be the reduced amount of riders during the summer, which would make a BRT more feasable. Grand Valley would most likely be willing to pay some of the bill since they already pay the 50, 37 and 48s services.

Does anyone else wish they would have combined the four buildings into one or two taller buildings? This would allow them much more room for future expansion and give them a stronger presence in the area. Maybe it wasn't practical for the uses of the buildings or it wasn't cost effective.

I heard that 131 near Ann St is now 5 lanes in each direction. Can anyone verify?
