  1. So currently Meijer is building in the Milwaukee area. Next will be the Cleveland area where they are going on through the approval process. Now according to this article Meijer is looking into locations in the Minneapolis area. http://m.startribune.com/twin-cities-grocery-scene-likely-to-get-a-lot-more-competitive-soon/366888361/
  2. Two more possible sites are being talked about now. Bainbridge Township at the former Geauga Lake Park. http://www.crainscleveland.com/article/20150531/NEWS/305319981/meijer-is-sizing-up-former-geauga-lake-property Another site is under contract in North Canton https://www.toledoblade.com/Real-Estate/2015/06/02/Meijer-has-sights-on-N-E-Ohio-property.html That site mainly talks about the first one, but towards the end it mentions the North Canton one also.
  3. It looks like they are starting to go through the approval process for stores in Cleveland Akron area. One is at the Stow Kent plaza outside of Akron http://m.stowsentry.com/news%20local/2014/11/23/city-council-approves-meijer-store-for-stow-kent Another store is proposed at I-90 and Nagel in Avon. http://chronicle.northcoastnow.com/2015/03/20/meijer-talks-avon-location-nagel-road/ I'm sure it's only a matter of time before more start going through the approval process.
  4. It looks like Meijer is going to the Cleveland-Akron area in northeast Ohio as well because they just got approval for a store in Stow, Ohio. I am sure we will be hearing about more soon because it would not make sense to go into an area that big with only one store. http://www.ohio.com/news/local/meijer-grocery-store-could-be-coming-to-former-stow-kent-plaza-instead-of-residential-neighborhood-1.540410

  6. I know it is outside of your range but one of the Bay City stores has an early but unnamed e4 department. It has all the pArts of an e4 department except the photo department in it. It opened in 2000.
  7. The store in Taylor opened on July 19 1977 The store in Woodhaven opened on September 25 1990 The store in Southgate opened on August 30 1994

  10. No, you didn't miss it. It was just a guess based on the number of stores they are talking about opening.
  11. Well it looks like Meijer will be moving into another area besides southern Wisconsin based off the number of stores they are planning to open over the next five years according to this article. http://www.wzzm13.com/news/article/268153/48/Meijer-CEO-expects-aggresive-growth
