Thought y'all would want to know that yesterday I stumbled upon Statesboro's first Thai restaurant, Coconut. It's in the shopping center behind Zaxby's, and they're hoping to open as early as next week. The menu is in the window. In the same shopping center is El Rinconcito, a great little Mexican grocery & taqueria with excellent traditional dishes. Try the tostada de ceviche.

It's a nice little used bookstore, about the same size as Book & Cranny, which only sells new books. I hope we continue to support the independent bookshops in Statesboro, even with Books a Hundred down the road!

Thanks for sharing! It's puzzling why they'd specifically market Property #1 as a site for a grocery store, if a Super Target were about to be built next to it... Interesting.
