  1. I've got this pic (8x12) hanging in my office. I had it printed on metallic photo paper and the colors are sooo vivid! I love metallic paper! Cricket
  2. Ah, Kevin Costner... my daughter's second cousin's husband's second cousin. In her words, "My cousin by marriage". Right. Cool pic!! Cricket
  3. Sunday Afternoon edition: Freedom Weekend Aloft is coming back to Greenville County after a number of years in Anderson County. In honor of the upcoming Memorial Day weekend's Freedom Weekend Aloft: Cricket
  4. What a trip!! That's so funny! I see Hawaii!! Cricket
  5. I'm gonna break the rules (or at least leave stretch marks on them) and post two shots from today: Afternoon edition: My daughter says that these two pics look "spacy". Imaging that the sky is really the ocean from space and the building is a space station (especially with the "wings"): This one I left the adapter ring on the end of the lense which causes the "earthly" effect. Again, the fancy space station with its brick veneer... Cricket
  6. Aw, thanks GvilleSC! Actually, where we live - on Lake Hartwell - is basically half way between our jobs. DH works in Toccoa and me in Greenville... daughter commutes to Clemson U. AND... I just CAN'T give up the lake!! Our petrol costs at present are just over $800 a month!!! Cricket
  7. I would really love to make it to one of the movie showings. I'm seldom in Greenville in the evenings to take in the night life. Oh whoa is the 104 mile round trip commute from home -- every work day... it's very hard to hang around Greenville after work with family at home to take care of. Now, if they play Arsenic and Old Lace... that's a different story!! It's a favorite in our house. We'll be there will bells on - dang the miles! Cricket
  8. Golly guys, thanks! I've just returned from a terrific lunch outing at RiverPlace and I think I'll have a good one or two to share. The sky is fabulous today and the air is haze and smoke free! Cricket
  9. Morning edition: Another obligatory shot -- everyone has one! Liberty Bridge from below... I like this because you can see the "workings" of the bridge - Greenville's own wonder - the curvature and size (by comparison to the people walking above). Cricket ***Edited because the coffee hasn't set in yet...***
  10. Great shot, RT!! Wow is right, what a cool addition!! Cricket
  11. Morning edition: Wyche Pavilion in the fall: Cricket
  12. Terrific pictures, guys! Here's an afternoon edition: St. Mary's Cricket
  13. RT, those look sooooo good!!! So unlike the ones in the grocery that have half the berries growing fuzzy green/gray mold. Here's my contribution for the afternoon edition: This was from last year, and I realize Reedy has had a minor overhaul this year, but I've just got baseball on the brain today. Cricket
  14. Late, late, late afternoon (alright, its night) edition: Cricket Terrific pics guys! Cricket
  15. Afternoon edition: Greenville Zoo elephant whose name escapes me at the moment... is it Joy? Cricket
  16. A fabulous shot! I'm just gonna have to get out of bed early one of these days and hit the park before sunrise. (Read REAL EARLY as I live 50 miles away!) The streak of red in the background from a passing motorist adds a bit of colorful bang. How long was your exposure? Cricket
  17. I rode downtown this morning for my cup-o-joe and glanced over at Riverwalk... man... it's really looking good!! This is a great angle, Whitehourseview! Cricket
  18. Morning edition: The obligatory Caeser's Head shot: Cricket
  19. Naw.... Didn't Nakoma like Ben on Grizzly Adams? For you youngins, Grizzly Adams was a TV show... Nakoma was his Grizzly's Indian sidekick and Ben was the pet bear. Cricket
  20. Good morning everyone! Morning edition: Do you know where to find this guy? Cricket
  21. Great shot! I love the angle. Cricket
  22. Afternoon pic.. This is the Reedy below the second falls at Falls Park. I like this end of the park! Cricket
  23. Wow, so colorful! Cool shot! And another great activity associated with downtown Greenville. Cricket
