Thought I saw one article mention construction starts in May but that doesn't show up anymore.

Here's the basics of the article: LPC spent 11 million to purchase. They are sub-dividing the property (ballroom & parking lot) because of a shared wall the ballroom has with the building it's connected to own by the previous owner if they decide to demo/redevelop the existing ballroom.

The Pearl District in Portland is what I would hope church street turns into from I4 to OBT. Great shops, breweries, coffee and more using renovated buildings that were mostly already there. My favorite part of Portland for sure.

If they don't connect to the airport I don't see this system ever being self-sustaining. Getting tourists on board would be a huge boost to ridership.

Yeah, that was me. Still can't believe what happened that day. There were several others who deserve a lot of credit for what they did that day in addition to the young men from highschool.

Yes, lots of neighbors didn't want this project. I think the attorney fees finally became too much for them to handle. Personally, this project for me replaces the eyesore of what was there before. I purchased a home nearby a few years back. I wish this project had existed as I likely would have rented there first. Of the rental homes I saw in my price range, most aren't very well kept (including a few by my house). I believe it's good for the community as a whole for there to be more rental options. It won't make the landlords happy but competition from the princeton will motivate some to improve the homes to compete to get the desired rental rates.

I pass by this project every day on my way out to work so it's an easy photo to snap.

My only wish is they would have built this all the way to edgwater like the condos.

I admit it's taller than I expected but when you compare to the condos next door it's really not that bad.

The parking garage is going up fairly quick. I think it's really going to improve the area when combined with the renovation of the existing retail.
