    Former driver Andy Hillenburg bought the old Rockingham speedway for 4.4 million dollars at todays auction, his plans for the old speedway include late model type events with a possible NASCAR event sometime in the future.

    Heres a first for NASCAR, Kansas Speedway has proposed a 600 million dollar casino in the turn two area of the speedway. The project will include a 300 room 5 star hotel and 275,000 square feet of retail.

    Looks like A-Rod may be leaving New York to play for the Cubs, Chicago is said to be offering A-Rod 30 million dollars a year for 10 years and ownership stake in the team.

    After a valiant effort Dale Jr. didn't make the chase but you can't say it was from lack of tring. He ran in the top 3 all night just to have his engine blow up laps from the finish.
