Does anyone know what the plans are for the NASCAR logo at the top of the tower? It looks great at night when lit up, but man during the day it looks awful, you can barely even see it even when you are right up on it. Surely theyre not gonna leave it like that?

I have only been to the Charleston Basil once, so I dont remember for sure, but it seems like it did have a bar in it. Correct me if I'm wrong

Has Basil Thai opened in Avenue yet? My wife and I have been really looking forward to this

Ahh ok, we were actually gonna go there before we ended up going to Press because my wife goes to Queens and she used to eat there all the time and raved about how good it was. We drove by and it was closed at 830 on a Fri night. I figured they had closed for good.

New Zealand Cafe is a small, and I mean small sushi joint in the strip mall on the corner of Monroe Rd and Sardis Rd N. It is tucked in the corner between Harris Teeter, Hungry Howies, and a couple other places. My wife and I consider ourselves somewhat sushi connoisseurs, and this place is hands down the best I have had in town. It is almost always packed, even on weeknights, but the service is always fast and friendly and the food is fairly cheap as well. If you like sushi at all I definitely recommend this place.

Although it has been open for a while now, I just had the opportunity to try Press in the Trademark on Fri night. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the sushi is good as well, although not on the level of New Zealand Cafe (which is the best in Charlotte IMO). My wife and I each had a glass of wine, and we split 4 rolls of sushi and the chocolate fondue dessert and got out for 55 bucks. Not bad at all

I consider myself somewhat of a wing expert lol, but I have never heard of Moosehead's. Where is it located? On a side note, the best wings that I have had in Charlotte are from Plaza Chinese Carryout on The Plaza. That is if you don't mind the not-so-god area. Just ask for spicy buffalo, you will not be disappointed.

While I am not thrilled with the name, and feel it sounds much better without the "Cable", it could be worse. At least its not as bad as Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland

Having tried almost every sushi place in town, i would have to give that title to New Zealand Cafe on Monroe and Sardis with Yotto on Colony Rd. a close second

Anyone have an idea when the arena will officially give naming rights to TimeWarner?
