  1. Does anyone know which school district this development will fall into? Also, low $100,000's? Are these going to be tiny houses? I'm guessing 1200 to maybe 1500SF at that price. Most of the homes going up right now near otter creek seem to be larger. We looked at an open house on a new 1750 SF home in westfield a few weeks back. I'd guess the development in that area right now is mostly 1700-2100 SF or so.
  2. #25 Spaceman Spiff Live: East End Community in Saline County Work: Little Rock Born in Hot Springs and lived there for 18 years. Lived in Fayetteville for 4 years while at the U of A. Spent a few years renting in NLR before moving out where I am now.
  3. I had guessed that those homes had been used as officer's quarters. The nearby scenic hill neighborhood also has some homes with great views, as does the old baptist hospital site. Are there any plans to do anything with the hospital property? I know at one point some state agencies were looking at using it as office space, but that plan was dropped as far as I know.
  4. I was driving around NLR the other day and ended up driving around Ft. Roots (VA Hospital Campus) and there are some nice old houses up there, some with awesome views across the river to downtown little rock. Does the VA own all of these houses? Does anyone live in them or are they used as offices/storage? That is an amazing piece of real estate up there, and if the VA isn't using all of it, it would be nice to see some of it put to use as residential.
  5. Thanks. Does anyone know what is planned for the NE corner of the Crystal Hill/I-430 intersection?
  6. Where exactly is the new Wal-Mart Supercenter going to be constructed in Maumelle? I've noticed there is a lot of dirt being moved on the land at the NE corner of the Crystall Hill Road/I-430 intersection, and a new stop light went in a few months back at the intersection of North Shore Drive and Crystal Hill Road, on the east side of this property. Is this the supercenter location? Or is something else going here? The north shore business park is really growing as well.
  7. I believe he is asking about access to the unused theater space from inside the mall. I was in the mall this past sunday and was wondering the same thing. There's space for several more stores between the athletic store and the parking deck, but no sign of any modifications which would allow for use of this space.
