Too bad that 22 story Westin isn't coming to life. I don't even know if they're going to build the 8 story Westin anymore. Any clues? I would take some pictures but my camera doesn't work properly anymore. Like whenever I take pictures, the pictures comes out really blurry and has a lot white lines running up and down the picture. It all of a sudden just did this. has anyone encountered this problem?

Has anyone heard of the Boomer Sports Bar & Grill? They're going to have a location in the Metro Parkway area.

AlX is one of my favorite stores. I always have to go to Dallas or Houston. I haven't been to KC yet.

The Apple Store at Woodland Hills in Tulsa is a pretty nice store. They even had computers set up for children to play kiddie games. It was actually pretty neat. They have a bunch of accessories and everything. Glad to hear that J Crew and Apple are coming Little Rock.

What a night for Darren McFadden. He had 35 carries for 323 yards but only had 1 touchdown. Have to also give credit to Felix Jones for those 3 touchdowns. Good game overall.

I guess you're right about that one. The three stories got to me there. But, Little Rock will out do the Promenade with a Promenade of their own (The Promenade at Chenal). Supposedly it's going to get an Apple Store. If an Apple Store comes then who knows what other stores will come. I agree with you on the part of the atmosphere and how the growth is going to increase.

I didn't know where else to put this but I figured it would do best in this thread. Mayor Womack came to the high school today for a DECA meeting and was talking about ever since he was mayor he wanted Rogers to become a town that wasn't just going to be a bedroom community. He was talking about developments like the Promenade, the John Q. Hammons Center, and the WTC. Whenever he was talking about the Promenade, he said that it was the best shopping center in Arkansas and I think he said that it was one of the best in the mid-south. I think that Park Plaza is on par with the Promenade and Tulsa has better shopping centers. But, I guess that's what the mayor has to say right? Anyways, it seems as if he is really wanting to make Rogers a "destination" town. So maybe this means that he'll start trying to do more to help the downtown area.

I posted about this in the Wind power thread in the Coffeehouse. I probably should've posted it here too but didn't think of it. Well it's actually generating electricity. All of the light poles in the parking lot are ran off of it. Yeah I saw it a few days ago and was wondering what it was for. You don't really see much of those here in NWA. Someone asked that question on KNWA, it was apart of the great "flippin" question segment. I'm going to try to get a picture of it and upload it on here, here in a few days.

Finally, the extension of Dixieland Rd. is completed. Now it spans all the way from Hudson Rd. to Pleasant Grove Rd.. Woo Hoo!!

Hey thanks a lot PigWig! I've been wondering what they've been doing for the longest time. EDIT-Wait so on the map that you showed us. 10 is going to be Pinnacle Hills Pkwy. I'm assuming. What are they going to do with Champions Dr.?

Does anyone know what they're doing to the land opposite of the Pinnacle entrance? It seems as if they're making a road but I don't know if it's going to connect to the overpass. I'm assuming that's what they're going to do...hopefully.

What are the rumored tenants that will be coming?

Wow Orlando is a beautiful place. I never imagined it would be like that but wow. Here in Northwest Arkansas, you don't see anything like that, we have the hills and mountains. It's still nice. Thanks for the pictures.

I've noticed that the land on the opposite side of Pinnacle's entrance has undergone dirt work. Does anyone know what this might be? My guess is that they're working on a road that leads to the new overpass that leads to Promenade Blvd. It looks like it could be a road...who knows? Are they just going to cut off Perry Rd. where it connected to the overpass?

The stoplight located off the southbound Pinnacle Hills Pkwy exit is finally working now (since tuesday night). The traffic I must say is a lot more smoother. Although, there are times when the people on the exit ramp don't get to go because the other stoplight about 100 feet away turns red and there are already cars backed up. At least it's better than a 3-way stop.
