  1. The large mall boxes with endless stores selling the same stuff and anchored on all ends by department stores are a thing of the past. I really wonder if they can stage a comeback. And add on top of that the ease of buying anything on the internet, I don't believe they can last. A few years ago I said I would never buy clothes, shoes, etc on the internet, and today, its a normal thing to check on whats out there and buy with the easy click of the mouse. If it doesn't fit, send it back. And why fight the traffic on Haywood and Woodruff road for that pleasure?
  2. HEY! quit picking on us lurkers!!! i actually enjoy reading the various threads every day, just dont have anything to add. just know that i am enjoying loft living at the loft on mills and couldnt be happier about all the wonderful things happening in the downtown area. i am also very impatient and want these projects NOW!
  3. Well, yes I was. And being gay and "expected" to always dress the best, it would have definitely been to a bad sweater theme party if you saw me with a bad sweater! LOL I would assume we have a mutual friend located in the Lofts?
  4. thanks Skyliner! have enjoyed reading a lot about the development in and around downtown greenville. we moved to the lofts on mills ave nearly two years ago and haven't regretted it for a second. and with downtown booming in all directions, its only going to get better!
  5. Charlotteman - being gay and living in or near downtown Greenville has not caused us any problems. In fact life continues to get better and better everyday as the downtown area grows both in what is offered as well as its tollerance to all.
