10-Lender Syndicate Loans $405M to Peabody Orlando Capmark Finance Inc. has assembled a syndicate of 10 lenders, including a Capmark affiliate, to provide a $405 million financing package for The Peabody Orlando hotel in Orlando, Fla. The floating-rate loan refinanced existing debt originated by Capmark Finance in 2005 and provides construction financing for an expansion that will nearly double the size of the hotel. The design team for the Orlando arts center is modeling the largest theater after Disney’s New Amsterdam Theatre, built in 1903. I hope they can preserve the old world feel. This place is going to be quite the venue if it pans out.

I have thought this for some time and never really allowed any of the negative news that the local guys like to report about bother me. It seems that each time I walk downtown the pedestrian activity seems to get better. In my opinion, we have to give a lot of credit to Mr. Dyer and crew for having the vision to deliver us the active downtown that we see today.

I don't normaly drive down mills, but I started a new job on colonial and it has become part of my commute. The last two days I noticed workers on this site and some large precast cement pieces as well. Maybe someone could shed some light on what's going on.

Holy Land Experience details its expansion The Holy Land Experience is done with being humble. The biblically themed tourist attraction is planning to erect a 30-foot-tall sign alongInterstate 4, highlighting its new owner, Trinity Broadcasting Network, which purchased the park last June for $37 million. Other indications of the park's new ownership include a 100,000-square-foot television studio to be built on land across Vineland Road from the attraction, parking lots surrounding the TV studio, and a footbridge over Vineland connecting the parking and studio to the main complex. I saw Kuhn Walking around the Cheyenne Saloon on Church st. today and he didn't seem all the concerned to me. I also saw an electric-hybrid bus (it said it on the side) driving in the Lymmo lane. I guess they where demoing the bus for some Lynx folks.

Google trends shows Orlando as the number one area being searched for when people are looking for vacatiom homes. Google Trends I wonder how much of this translates in to sales and is not just rentals?
