Guardian Building lighting

I remember hearing the that the Guarding was going to get full lighting scheme does anyone know if they've starting work on this yet? and what color are going to put on the building

The building was supposed to be lit later this month. We'll see if that actually happens. I will ask about the progress on the lighting the next time I'm down there. It sure would add a lot to the skyline, since now the Guardian is just another dark hole.

Then again, that applies to just about every other downtown building.

Yeah seems like Casino Windsor has more lights then the whole downtown :/

Actually the biggest dark hole in the skyline is the Stott Building. It isn't very occupied though, so I doubt we'll see lighting on that building for a while.

The stott did have lighting at one time not long ago. Funds must have ran out.

I'm pretty sure the lighting is still there, actually. They just don't turn it on because it's so expensive. Every once and a while one of the lights that light up the tower is on, but that doesn't happen often. The Stott's occupancy is quite low. Only floors 16-32 have space that has been leased out. The owner is basically renovating the tower one floor at a time as money permits. There are photos of the building's renovation in the lobby...or at least there were a couple months ago.

I really this project comes the setbacks on that building are just begging to be lit. The Comerica Tower is another on IMO that should lit considering how occupied it is

Yeah, I agree. You'd think that they would put some sort of lighting on Comerica.
