Grant Thorton sign on Charlotte Plaza

Not used to seeing many companies put their names high up on the buildings here. The fifth largest accounting firm in the country, grant thornton, has put its logo at the very top of the 27-story Charlotte Plaza building. Its actually in two places. Kinda weird, the building isnt being renamed, they just wanted their sign wayyyy up there i guess. it looks cool, gives character to a building thats just another in the pack

I've seen people's new pics of Charlotte @ night there looks like sign is on top of Charlotte Plaza. Is there really one there now or are my eyes playing trix on me?

Are you talking about the Grant Thornton sign? It was added maybe about a year ago or so? Maybe longer? Don't remember exactly. They are one of the largest tenants in that building.
