Most Dangerous Streets in America

When I was a teenager (the mid 90s) I used to bike around much of south Jacksonville. No sidewalks in many areas, and not a single bike lane anywhere during that time. Even today, I can't think of many roads that have them.

On one particular four-lane road, I almost got hit by a car once and also got blown into a ditch by a passing semi-trailer (we were in the "Jacksonville bike lane" aka the white line at the edge of the pavement). My friend even got hit by a car once (he was unharmed). The traffic is so much worse now and I can't imagine trying to safely bike around anywhere useful.
