This is one of my favorite buildings in Detroit. I just wish that it was lit up at night. It would look so much better. The first time I saw this building I actually thought it was old - it blends in well with the historic architecture of the Detroit skyline. It wasn't until later that I actually found out that it was built in 1992.

and although no one calls it by its legal name, its One Detroit Center.....but its just easier to call it by its major tennant

Now that you mention it, I don't think I've EVER heard it refered to as One Detroit Center, & I've lived around here since the tower was built.
