Cincinnati, home to the world's largest Octoberfest outside of Munich.

The weather was perfect, the food was incredible and the beer summed it up, couple that with rides, skyscrapers and open container drinking and I couldn't of asked for a better day.

We moved to Cincinnati in June and have had people ask me why not Chicago, Boston or San Francisco? Well the pictures below should help. With a festival of some sort going on every weekend, we have been none stop. Cincinnati is truly a hidden gem that is greatly underrated. I am just glad I discovered it.

At last I present, Cincinnati.

Pictures are big, but trust me they are worth the wait!

What would a beautiful day like yesterday be without a trip up Carew Tower?

As you can see, this is what is left of Cinergy Field. The National Underground Freedom Center is progressing nicely below (yellow wall with flag) and the Reds Hall of Fame is being constructed next to the new ballpark. The surface lots will one day turn into "The Banks" which is a condo, parking garage, restaurant, bar area. Newport and Covington Kentucky are what you see on the other side of the Ohio River.

With the Beautiful Union Terminal Train station in the rear which is now a world class Museum Center, City West sits center of the picture. These incredible urban homes are brand new with more under way. They replaced Laurel Projects and incorporate mixed income living from low income to wealthy lawyers.
