On my way to a job in Florida I decided to stop in this quaint old Southern town, and boy was it ever quaint. Other than driving around for 45 mins trying to find my hotel and where to park for it, I loved my stay here. I absolutely love the architecture here, it really is quite like no other place I've ever been. Only wish I got to see more. The last couple are from the top of a parking garage.

For some reason I cannot see all your photos but what I can brings back fond memories. Wife and I did a Low Country trip two years ago and fell in love with both Savannah and Charleston. I like Savannah a little more because of its grittiness and "lived-in" feel as opposed to the almost museum-like feel of Charleston. We stayed in a B&B located on the square where Forrest Gump did his box of chocolates talk. We walked just about every street between Forsyth Park and the river. I heard all these things about it being a dangerous place to walk but never found it scary.....maybe that is due to being a Jersey guy.
