Just went to Wilmington

I havent been to Wilmington for a bit. Im in Raleigh now but went to college in Wilmington and worked/lived there for a few years afterwards.

Anyway, went down yesterday and checked things out. The New PPD building downtown is amazing. Would be nice to get just a few more strcutures like that going on up that way.

Traffic was as bad as i remember LOL.

Noticed a bunch of palmettos growing on both sides of I-40 around exit 408. Never noticed them before but they small so looks like they are just getting going. Just weird to see them growing wild like that.

Interesting about the small wild palm trees....I'll hafta keep an eye out the next time I head down that way....probably from where some1 planted a palm tree in their yard and the seeds spread

We had those Palmetto plant in back of our house when I lived in Rocky Point. They were near where I40 is now.
